AUSTIN, TX— The Austin Diagnostic
Clinic doctors have been recognized once again on two comprehensive surveys
as some of the top peer-recommended physicians statewide and nationally.
A total of 34 ADC doctors were recognized as either “Super
Doctors™” in 2011 by Texas Monthly, or as “Best Doctors in
America®” in 2011-12 by the Boston-based group Best Doctors,
Inc. There were 21 ADC physicians named “Texas Monthly Super Doctors,” while
23 doctors received the “Best Doctors in America” moniker.
Ten ADC physicians appeared on both lists.
The “Texas Monthly Super Doctors” list is based on a survey of more than
40,000 doctors who were asked to nominate one or more doctors
other than themselves from specified medical specialties, based
on the answer to the question: “If you needed medical care,
which doctor would you choose?” The full list is available
in the November 2011 issue of Texas Monthly.
About 45,000 doctors were selected through a peer-review process
to be on the bi-annual
“Best Doctors in America” list.
Physicians were asked to identify specialists who are considered
to be the most skilled in their fields and most qualified for
reviewing and treating complex medical conditions. Nationally,
only five percent of doctors earned the designation.
