Two
prestigious lists named thirty-three physicians with The Austin
Diagnostic Clinic (ADC) in 2010, recognizing them for excellence
and skill. There were 19 ADC doctors named “Super Doctors” by
Texas Monthly and 24 ADC doctors selected as “Best Doctors in
America®” by
Best Doctors, Inc. Ten doctors were honored by both
organizations.

The “Super
Doctor” designation with Texas Monthly names doctors who
are highly recommended by his or her peers. Over 38,000 doctors
were surveyed and asked to nominate one or more doctors other
than themselves from specified medical specialties, based on the
answer to the question: “If you needed medical care, which
doctor would you choose?”
The “Best
Doctor” designation is a national recognition based on a similar
selection process, in which up to 1.5 million physicians are
asked to identify specialists who are considered to be the most
skilled in their fields and most qualified for reviewing and
treating complex medical conditions. Nationally, only five
percent of doctors receive this designation.
