Setting Up an Appointment

Your initial visit will take approximately 1 hour.   Our professional nursing staff will review your travel itinerary, accommodations, length of stay, departure date, and previous immunizations.  They will review your general health history and recommend appropriate precautions and vaccinations.
On your first visit you will also be issued an International Certificate of Vaccination.  This document is approved by the World Health Organization as verification that proper procedures were followed in administering vaccines for foreign travel.  It is used to record the following:
bullet
Date and dose of all vaccinations received for foreign travel.
bullet
Medical exemption from receipt of required vaccinations.
bullet
Personal health history.
bullet
Drug allergies.
bullet
Current medications.
bullet
Prescriptions for eyeglasses and contact lenses.
This document will be updated by our Travel Clinic staff at all subsequent visits.
In addition, we provide a weekly updated computerized report, compiled by World Health Organization, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, and the US Department of State.  This report provides you with the latest news on health related issues, environmental hazards, assessment of terrorism threat, and Embassy and consulate information.
