Patient Testimonial:
I
am a 42 year old male that recently had bilateral
inguinal surgery performed by Dr. Buzad and the daVinci
Surgical Robot. In all sincerity, I am completely
overwhelmed with gratitude not only for the minimal pain
and recovery time associated with the procedure, but
also the objective and qualitative guidance I received
from Dr. Buzad in deliberating whether or not to go the
daVinci route.
I had the same surgery (two hernias, one on each
side) back in 1996. I was unable to stand up for over
two weeks with an additional four weeks of recovery on
top of that before I was finally able to walk and drive
my car without severe pain. I went into this current
procedure with two main objectives: minimal pain /
recovery time and knowing that the procedure is done
correctly so that this time would be the last. Both of
those objectives were achieved and I would have to rate
the overall experience as nothing other than
OUTSTANDING.
I believe that the precision of the daVinci Surgical
System along with the exceptional ability of Dr. Buzad
allowed me to go back to work on the Tuesday after my
Friday morning surgery. I walked the entire time after
the surgery and after two weeks was fully back in
action. I even went back to my yoga practice three weeks
after the surgery.
Finally, with regards to Dr. Buzad, it is inspiring to
interact with a doctor that elevates surgery to an art
form. This is quite evident not only in the way he
discusses surgery, but also in the videos (including
mine) of the procedures he performs.
